FBA Shipments

Build a shipment of your products to Amazon's warehouses, compare real placement and shipping prices, print labels, and track what Amazon received.

What it's for

FBA Shipments is where you send stock to Amazon's warehouses (Fulfilled by Amazon). It walks you through four steps:

  1. Pick the products and quantities.
  2. Enter each product's size and weight.
  3. Compare real prices from Amazon for different ways to box and split the shipment, and pick one.
  4. Print item labels and box labels.

A second tab lists your FBA shipments, shows how many units Amazon has received, and flags missing units.

Where to find it

In the left sidebar, open Orders and click FBA Shipments.

The screen at a glance

The page has two tabs at the top: πŸš€ New shipment and πŸ“¦ Shipments. The β†Ί FNSKU backfill button sits at the top right.

New shipment tab

Step 1: click products to add them to the shipment on the right.

A row of four steps shows where you are: Products, Sizes & quantities, Placement & cost and Labels.

Step 1 – Products. Search your Amazon listings by SKU, ASIN, title or UPC. Each product card shows:

Click a card to add it. Click it again to remove it. Added products show on the Shipment items panel on the right. Click the red βœ• to remove one. You can give the shipment a name in the Shipment name box.

Step 2: quantity, single-unit size and weight, and expiry date for each product.

Step 2 – Sizes & quantities. One row per product with:

Column What to enter
Qty to ship How many units to send. It starts at 24.
Length in / Width in / Height in The size of one sellable unit, in inches.
Unit oz The weight of one unit, in ounces.
Exp date The expiry date, if Amazon needs one for this product. Use the earliest date in the batch you are sending.

Measure one sellable unit carefully. OrderPilot uses these numbers to work out how many fit in each box, which box to use and how heavy each box is. Amazon prices each option from that. Sizes and weights you enter are saved for next time.

Step 3: every boxing option, each priced by Amazon. The cheapest is starred.

Step 3 – Placement & cost. OrderPilot sends several ways of boxing your shipment to Amazon at the same time, for example 24 per box in a smaller box or 48 per box in a bigger one. For each one, Amazon returns its placement options:

Each option card shows the Placement fee, Shipping (partnered) cost, the TOTAL, and each destination with its carrier and price. The cheapest one is marked ⭐ Cheapest overall.

While Amazon works, an animated panel shows progress and a timer. It usually takes 1 to 2 minutes. Options show up as soon as each one is priced, so keep the page open.

Step 4 – Labels. After you confirm, you can print:

Shipments tab

All your FBA shipments. Click one to see its items.
