Finding your way around
The sidebar, its sections, and the Dashboard you see when you open OrderPilot.
What it's for
OrderPilot is one window with a dark green sidebar on the left and your page on the right. The sidebar takes you to every page. The Dashboard is the home page: a quick look at today's orders, order status counts and your vendor catalogs.
Where to find it
The sidebar is always on the left. Click the OrderPilot logo at the top, or Dashboard, to come back to the home page from anywhere.
The screen at a glance
The sidebar
From top to bottom:
- Search box β finds a SKU, order or purchase order. See Searching OrderPilot.
- Dashboard β the home page.
- Operations sections:
- Inventory β Source SKUs, Catalog SKUs, Channel SKUs, Repricer.
- Orders β Channel Orders, Shipping, FBA Shipments. A red number on the section shows how many problem orders need attention.
- Purchasing β Purchase Orders, Recovery.
- Warehouse β Warehouse.
- Customer Care β Emails, Claims.
- Team β My work, Tasks, Chat, and My timesheet / Who's working for members. Admins see β Manage team instead. A red number shows unread chat messages.
- Accounting & Reports β Reports, QuickBooks, History.
- Settings β your company's settings.
- Help center β opens these help guides in a new browser tab.
- At the bottom: the Chat, Jobs and Version buttons, and your name (the account button).
Click a section name to open it. Opening one section closes the others. The section that holds the page you are on stays open.
What you can see depends on your permissions
Admins see every page. Members see only the pages their admin has turned on for them. A section disappears when none of its pages are allowed. If you open a link to a page you are not allowed to see, OrderPilot takes you to the Dashboard instead.
The Dashboard
- Problem orders banner (red, at the top) β shows when some orders need attention. View orders opens Channel Orders.
- Orders graph β four totals for the period (ordered product sales, units ordered, average units per order, average sales per order) and two line charts: units ordered and ordered product sales. Each chart compares the current period with the previous period, the same day last week and the same day last year. Hover over a chart to see the numbers for that point. The time it was last updated shows on the right.
- Date β Today, Yesterday, Week to date, Month to date or Year to date.
- Channel β All channels, Amazon or Walmart.
- Orders card β order counts for today, yesterday, this month and this year. Click it to open Channel Orders.
- Status counts β Awaiting 855 (waiting for the vendor's reply), Acknowledged (vendor confirmed), OK to ship (ready to fulfill) and Problem orders (need attention).
- Recent orders β the latest orders with marketplace, vendor and status. Click a row, or View all, to open Channel Orders.
- Vendor catalog β each vendor with its active SKU count and how many are out of stock. Upload 832 opens Source SKUs.
If you do not have the orders permission, the order cards are hidden. If you have neither orders nor SKUs, you see a short welcome message instead.
If your account does not include financial figures, the dollar tiles and the sales chart are left out and you see units only.

Tips and troubleshooting
- Pages stay where you left them. Each page is kept open in the background after you visit it, so switching back is instant. When you come back to a page, it refreshes its data.
- After a refresh you land on the same page you were on.
- Alt+M jumps to Customer Care β Emails from anywhere in OrderPilot (if you have Customer Care).
- Keyboard and screen readers: every sidebar item can be reached with Tab and opened with Enter or Space. Section headers announce whether they are open or closed.
- If something looks out of date, use Refresh app (clear cache) in the account menu.
