Connect ShipStation
Connect ShipStation so ready-to-ship orders are sent there for labels and tracking comes back automatically.
What it's for
With ShipStation connected, OrderPilot can send ready-to-ship orders into ShipStation, import tracking numbers back when you ship there, and mark orders you shipped elsewhere as shipped in ShipStation. ShipStation rates can also be compared on the Shipping page.
Where to find it
β Settings β Integrations β Shipping β ShipStation. Tabs: Setup and Log.
The automatic jobs (send, import, sync) and their timing are on Settings β General settings β Orders β Fulfillment. See Order settings and routing rules.
The screen at a glance
Setup tab
| Field | What it is |
|---|---|
| API Key / API Secret | Your ShipStation API key pair. Leave blank to keep the saved ones. |
| API Key (v2) | A separate key from the same ShipStation page. With it, ShipStation rate quotes include a delivery date, so they can compete against the promise date on the Shipping page. Without it, ShipStation rates are price-only. The badge shows Set or Not set. |
| Which SKU to send to ShipStation | Catalog SKU with correct qty (best for warehouse picking) or Channel SKU (your Amazon seller SKU). |
| Send orders into store | Which ShipStation store orders go into. Default is Manual Orders. Create a store named "OrderPilot" in ShipStation, then pick it here. |
Log tab
Everything sent to and received from ShipStation: when, direction (π€ sent / π₯ received), OrderPilot order number, channel order number, status, tracking number and result (ok or error β point at "error" to see the reason).

Tips and troubleshooting
- Orders aren't appearing in ShipStation. Check the ShipStation Integration switch and "Send orders to ShipStation" job are on. Only ready-to-ship orders without a cancel request are sent.
- Rates have no delivery date. Add the v2 key.
- Load stores shows an error. Save your API key and secret first, then try again.
- Look in the Log for errors on a specific order.
