Connect Shopify

Step-by-step guide to connecting your Shopify webstore with a custom app access token, and turning on order import.

What it's for

Connecting Shopify brings your own webstore's orders into OrderPilot, so they route through the same vendors and warehouse as your marketplace orders.

Where to find it

βš™ Settings β†’ Channels β†’ click your Shopify store. Tabs: Connection, Orders, Inventory.

Button What it does
πŸ’Ύ Save & test Saves the domain and token and checks them right away. Shows "βœ… Connected to …" or the error.
Save (Orders) Saves the import switch, interval and window.
Import now Starts a Shopify order import right away. Watch the Jobs log.
Save (Inventory) Saves the push switch and interval.

How to connect Shopify

In your Shopify admin:

  1. Go to Settings β†’ Apps and sales channels β†’ Develop apps.
  2. Click Create app and name it "OrderPilot".
  3. Grant these Admin API scopes: read_orders, read_products, write_orders.
  4. Click Install app.
  5. Copy the Admin API access token. Shopify shows it only once. No Shopify review is needed; it works right away.

In OrderPilot:

  1. Open Settings β†’ Channels β†’ your Shopify store β†’ Connection.
  2. Type your Store domain (yourstore.myshopify.com).
  3. Paste the Admin API access token.
  4. Click πŸ’Ύ Save & test. The status box shows "βœ… Connected to" your store name.

How to start importing Shopify orders

  1. Open the Orders tab.
  2. Turn on Import orders automatically, set the interval and window.
  3. Click Save, then Import now if you want orders right away.
