Purchasing settings
Default restock timing β lead time, days of stock to hold, and the sales window used for reorder suggestions.
What it's for
The Purchasing box sets the defaults that restock suggestions use when deciding how much to reorder. A vendor's own values, when set, win over these defaults.
Where to find it
β Settings β General settings β Purchasing. Tabs: Restock defaults and Imports.

How to make suggestions keep more stock on hand
- Open Settings β General settings β Purchasing β Restock defaults.
- Raise Stock for this many days, for example from 30 to 45.
- Click outside the box. It saves on its own.
Tips and troubleshooting
- A vendor ignores these numbers. That vendor has its own lead time or coverage set, and the vendor's values win.
- Suggestions swing a lot from week to week. Try a longer Lookback days so one busy or slow week has less effect.
