Connect Walmart
Step-by-step guide to connecting your Walmart Marketplace seller account with your API keys.
What it's for
Connecting Walmart lets OrderPilot import Walmart orders, send inventory and handling time, upload tracking, and keep order status in step with Walmart.
Where to find it
β Settings β Channels β click your Walmart store β Connection tab.
The screen at a glance
- Client ID β from the Walmart Developer Portal.
- Client Secret β stored encrypted and never shown again. Leave blank to keep the saved one.
- Seller / Partner ID β your Walmart seller (partner) number.
- A result area under the buttons shows the details of the last test.
The store box badge shows Connected, Auth failed (saved but Walmart refused it) or Not set.
Buttons and actions
| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| πΎ Save credentials | Saves the three fields. Shows "β Saved" and clears the secret box. |
| π Test connection | Asks Walmart for a sign-in token and tries to read your orders. Shows "β Auth works" and whether orders are readable, or the reason it failed. |
How to connect Walmart
- Sign in to the Walmart Developer Portal and open My Keys.
- Use your first-party key with Full Access. Copy the Client ID and Client Secret.
- In OrderPilot, open Settings β Channels β your Walmart store β Connection.
- Paste the Client ID and Client Secret.
- Type your Seller / Partner ID.
- Click πΎ Save credentials.
- Click π Test connection. Look for "β Auth works" and "orders readable β".
Next, set up the Inventory & listings and Orders tabs (see Channels and stores).
Tips and troubleshooting
- "Auth works" but orders are not readable. The key works but may not have permission for orders. Check that the key in My Keys has Full Access.
- Badge says Auth failed. The Client ID or secret is wrong or was reset on Walmart's side. Paste both again and save.
- Replacing the secret. Paste the new one and save. A blank secret box keeps the old one.
