Channels and stores
Manage your store boxes and each channel's inventory push, handling time, listing sync and order import settings.
What it's for
The Channels area shows one box per store you sell on โ Amazon, Walmart, eBay and Shopify. Each box opens that store's settings:
- Connection โ the login that links OrderPilot to the marketplace (see the Integrations articles for step-by-step guides).
- Inventory & listings โ where available quantity comes from, how often it is sent, handling time, and listing sync.
- Orders โ how often orders are imported, P&L fees, cancel requests and tracking.
Where to find it
โ Settings โ Channels.
The screen at a glance
Each store box shows a status badge (Connected, Not connected, Auth failed and so on). Under it are rename and, for extra storefronts, remove.
The first store of each platform is your live connection. Extra storefronts of the same platform can be added now as named placeholders; they start working when multi-store support is switched on for your account. Until then they change nothing.
Amazon and Walmart โ Inventory & listings tab
Inventory source โ where the quantity you send comes from:
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Use warehouse stock | Counts units on your own shelves. Tick which warehouses to count. |
| Use vendor stock | Counts availability from linked vendors. |
| Use custom calculation | Overrides the two options above with fixed quantities by how many of your two main vendors have stock: Both vendors in stock, Only each vendor, and None in stock. You can also add warehouse stock on top. Click โ๏ธ Edit custom calculation to set the numbers. |
| MIN ship (avg-shipping seed) | A starting average shipping cost for listings that have none yet. Shows in the Avg Ship column. 0.00 is allowed; blank means none. Has its own Save. |
Inventory sync โ turn the whole schedule on or off with Enable โฆ inventory sync. Then:
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Push inventory to (channel) | Sends quantities for the entire catalog or active SKUs only, every 15 minutes to 24 hours. Recommended: every 1โ2 hours. |
| Push newly-changed 0-stock | Sends items that just went out of stock, fast. Recommended: every 15โ30 minutes. |
| Update handling this many minutes before cutoff | How many minutes before a vendor's daily cutoff the handling time is updated. |
| Holiday closures | ๐ Manage days off opens a list of dates you are closed. Handling time skips them. For Amazon you also see Amazon holidays โ legal holidays Amazon does not count as handling days. They are filled in every year; untick one only if you ship that day and have overridden it in Seller Central. You can add a custom date. |
| Drop-shipped items | Add extra handling days (and how many), or Never use as inventory. Applies only when the item is not on your own shelf. |
| Warehouse stock handling time | Handling days for items on your own shelf. Blank uses the normal vendor calculation. |
| Handling time schedule | ๐ฎ View next 30 changes shows, per vendor, when handling time will change next and why. |
| Sync new & updated listings | How often listings are pulled from the channel. Recommended: every 6โ12 hours. |
| Update titles & images on existing listings | When syncing, also refresh the title and image. |
| Auto-link to catalog SKU by UPC | Links a listing to the catalog SKU with the same UPC automatically. |
| Require a reason when restricting | A reason must be picked before a listing is restricted (sends 0). |
Amazon only:
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Catalog refresh โ active listings | Refreshes title, image and sales rank from Amazon's catalog, each active listing once per day to once a month. Amazon allows about 1,200 listings per 12 minutes. |
| Catalog refresh โ inactive listings | The same for inactive or suppressed listings. Weekly is usually enough. |
| Keepa refresh | Buy box, badge and rank from Keepa, each ASIN once per chosen number of days. Listings that sell go first. Needs a Keepa key. |
| Blank titles | โถ Fill blank titles now fills listings that have no title from Amazon's catalog right away. |
Amazon and Walmart โ Orders tab
| Setting | Channel | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Sync orders | Both | How often new orders are imported (5 minutes to 24 hours). |
| Import estimate P&L with new orders | Amazon | Pulls the fee estimate as each order arrives, plus an hourly sweep. |
| Import settlement (actual) P&L | Amazon | Pulls real settled fees. Recommended: every 12โ24 hours. |
| Sync cancel requests | Amazon | Checks for buyer cancellation requests. |
| Send tracking to Amazon / Walmart | Both | Confirms shipment on the marketplace once tracking is in. |
| Recover orders by number | Amazon | Opens a window where you paste Amazon order numbers (one per line or comma-separated, up to 200). Each is fetched from Amazon and imported; existing copies are refreshed. |
| Give up on an order after | Walmart | How many times a tracking upload Walmart rejects is retried (1โ10) before it is left alone with the error kept on the order. |
| Status reconcile | Walmart | Compares your open orders with Walmart's list and fixes shipped or cancelled orders that got out of step. |
The Amazon Orders tab also has the Amazon P&L fees card:
- Daily automatic fee sync โ once a day, pull Amazon's actual settled fees (referral, FBA, facilitator tax) into each order's P&L.
- Run at (Eastern) โ the hour it runs.
- Look back โ how many days of shipped orders to check (7, 14, 30 or 60). 14 is usually plenty.
- โป Backfill now โ one-time catch-up of actual fees for past shipped orders that don't have them.
- ๐ Seed now โ fills a shipping cost estimate (from each listing's average shipping) on unshipped orders that have none.
- The line at the bottom shows when the sync last ran and how many shipped orders already have actual fees.
eBay and Shopify
Their Orders and Inventory tabs are simpler. See Connect eBay and Connect Shopify in the Integrations section.

Tips and troubleshooting
- The sync settings are greyed out. Turn on Enable โฆ inventory sync first.
- Custom calculation greys out the other source switches. That is expected: custom quantities override them.
- An extra storefront says "Activates with multi-store". It is a placeholder for now and does not import or send anything.
- Handling time looks wrong after a holiday. Check both your own days off and the Amazon holidays list, then use the preview.
